OK – I know Meaningful Mama is mostly about kids and doing things with kids. However, we also love food around here. Therefore, as I find or create new recipes, I want to pass them along to you. We went to a local restaurant, and their Gorgonzola Steak Salad quickly became the best salad we have ever had. I decide I wanted to try my hand at making it. We loved it. I think the french fried onions, steak and gorgonzola pair very well together.
red wine vinaigrette - see my recipe and add desired amount
1 pound steak (such as New York or filet mignon), pan-fried or grilled
salt and pepper for seasoning steak
Red Wine Vinaigrette
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/2-3/4 cup olive oil (I like less)

But really excited that you blog about doing things with kids because I have an 11 month old and am always looking for things to do with him. Following you through Facebook!
