Day #298 Worship with Instruments – Character Development, Week #43

Worshipful
“Oh, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker.”
- Psalm 95:6

Today we made paper plate tambourines. They’re easy and fun, and they are a way to worship God. I wrote out a Bible verse about praising God with instruments on the top and let them decorate them as they wanted. We then turned on worship music and played our instruments.

The instructions are simple. Have your children decorate the bottom of two paper plates. Staple them together about 3/4 of the way around with staples placed closely together. Then, use a funnel to fill them up with popcorn or rice. I like popcorn because it’s bigger and less likely to spill out. Once you’ve put some popcorn in, finish stapling it together. Time to play! We turned on a little Chris Tomlin and had some praise going on in the kitchen.
