Do any of you take a picture of all the bad moments? I rarely do. I find it extremely fulfilling as a parent to have a slide show running as my t.v. or computer screen saver. It’s hard to feel down or negative as you watch all of these happy moments going by on the screen. The kids love to watch them too. The video above was done on Animoto. If you are not familiar with this site, you should check into it. You can do a 30 second slide show for free. It’s reasonably priced beyond that. The site was made by some high school friends, and it’s exciting to see how it has grown. All you do is upload your pictures, choose or download a song, and their technology does the rest. You can also choose certain photos to be emphasized or add text. It’s a great thing. I generally have a more basic one running all the time on the screen saver program on my computer. However, Animoto is a fabulous option for gifts (like the Father’s Day video I posted) or slideshows you are doing for special events. Having slide shows fill your mind will bring all the happy memories to the forefront of your day rather than dwelling on some of the day to day grind.
