Curiosity is valuable when you are willing to pursue answers. Kids don’t necessarily have the tools to seek answers, so they need to be taught. After I picked Abigail up from school today I said, “What are you curious about?” After mentioning a couple things that wouldn’t be easily researched at the library, they landed on trees. So, we stopped by the library to find books on trees. The main point today was to teach the kids where to find answers. In the car we talked about where else to do research. The things we came up with were: library, book store, computer, phone or asking an adult.
