Every once in a while I will pull a move that should get me into the Mommy Darwin Award Book (if there was one). I have thought about sharing these dumb moments with you in my tip area, but I never have. I just decided you might enjoy me throwing in these humorous stories every once in a while, so I’m doing it today. Call it “Parenting for Dummies.” Perhaps it will all make you feel better about your own parenting. So, my tip today is that when you feel like you are don’t want to parent anymore at the end of the day, and your five year old tells you, in a park with no potties, that she needs to go potty, don’t just tell her to go pee behind a tree without further advice. Maybe your husband might inform you that she needs a little more guidance and assures you he doesn’t know how girls pee outside so can’t help. Maybe then you decide he’s probably right and decide you should go help. Perhaps you might go over there and discover she has already peed without consideration of pulling down her pants or a natural inclination to squat. That just might happen. Yes, we were at a park with no other people and the tree was in an inconspicuous spot. Yes, I had a change of clothes in the back of the car…luckily. That’s my tip for the day.

LOL!
Gotta love those funny memories too huh? Thanks for sharing the grins…=)
