Day #268 – San Diego Trip

We have been on a trip to San Diego. I’m hoping you saw a few of my ideas for flying with kids. The trip was a no brainer. My husband had a conference down there, and his company paid for his hotel and flight. We had companion passes for the girls and Corban was free to fly. My closest childhood friend, Michelle, lives there, and I was really wanting to visit her. Also, she loves kids and volunteered to have the three kids at her place during the nights, which was a huge blessing. That gave my husband and I some alone time from about 7PM- 10AM every day. She also got us a great deal on a place to stay and a car rental for the days we weren’t at the hotel. Further, she was so generous with us while we were there. Seriously, who can pass all that up? It was our first time traveling anywhere on a plane with all three kids. Overall, we did pretty well. Michelle made it extra special. Now that I’m going through pictures, I’m realizing we didn’t get a lot of our trip on camera. In addition to the pictures below we enjoyed some time at restaurants, girl shopping (my husband watched the kids), at two different pools and just hanging out. Here are the pictures I did get:
