Part of my goal as a mom is to help build a solid relationship with the siblings. Part of this involves teaching them to build each other up rather than tear each other down. I decided we would do an activity so Kenzie could think about what she appreciates about Abby. Don’t worry. We are switching it up tomorrow. I decided we could make a simple Tongue Depressor frame. I hot glued the sticks together, cut out a picture of the girls, let Kenzie color the outside of the frame and then asked her what she appreciates about her sister. I wrote her answers around the edge of the frame. She was able to present this gift to Abby when she came home from school.
