I have gone to the same fall fair almost every year of my life. It’s one of my favorite things to do in the fall. It has been fun to expose my kids to the same traditions and adventures. They all love rides (no fear), and who can beat fair food? They even had a booth for deep fried butter. Really? Last year we were completely booked on the weekends and couldn’t figure out how to make it happen as a family. I braved it alone with my then 4 year old, 2 year old and 10 month old. I guess I love it that much. I felt especially crazy as I watched my 4 year old and 2 year old walk, by themselves, to the top of the largest slides at the fair and make it down by themselves. They loved it. This year, we made it happen as a family. We were even able to have one of their aunts come along for the ride. It was a blast. Who doesn’t the love fair?

I’m surprised they let Kenzie go by herself. They wouldn’t let Kaarin go without sitting on Erik’s lap, at 3!!
I think they got more strict this year. I feel like there were a lot more restrictions.
