Part of the purpose of this blog is to bring you simple activities to help you engage your kids. Hopefully, I’ll have some Martha Stewart moments, but I want things to be accessible to you. I want tons of activities that anyone can do with their kids. Last summer, one of the most simple activities is what kept my kids occupied forever. I decided to set it up this summer as well. The concept is simply to provide a bunch of containers for dumping and pouring. I think we all want our kids to develop this skill, but we don’t really want them practicing on juice or milk. This is the perfect opportunity to practice while having tons of fun. It’s a great way to cool off on a hot day too. We have been lucky enough to have a nice fall, so summer activities have extended into September, which has been nice.
