We have a new niece in the family. We were so excited as we all travelled to the hospital together. We gathered in the waiting room excited to hear the announcement of her birth. The kids were so excited to meet their cousin. There was disappointment, however, that they could not go in and see the new baby because of the fear of the whooping cough outbreak. I assured them we’d go visit as soon as they returned home. Well, Kenzie started throwing up the day they returned home. Being fearful we might all be contagious, we had to wait a bit to go make the visit. We finally were able to spend some time with their new cousin. They’re in love with this baby. So am I.
