Day #222 – Thank You Cards from Children’s Drawings

I hope you were able to check out our ice cream party. If not, check it out! I am a little behind in getting the thank you cards up and going, but here they are. I took inspiration from our children’s art cards, and we made these. Yours can look totally different depending on the theme of your party or desired design, but there are tons of options.

The first thing I did was show Abby how to draw an ice cream cone and ice cream scoop. I had her draw a bunch of them separate from each other. Then, I had her write out thank you.

Next, I scanned them. I made three Word documents where I cropped the three elements of the picture, copied and pasted them so there were a number of them per page and printed on the desire color of paper.

You are now ready to cut out the different elements and paste them where you want them.

Finally, it’s time to write your note. I wrote what she would say on the white board, and she copied it. I am going to have her write two a day until they are finished.
