We have a great craft box with mostly stuff you can just buy at the Dollar Store. Some days you just have to stare at the box and wonder, “What could we make with this stuff?” This is a fun, simple idea. We made these bright, decorative tin can containers that can house pencils, flowers or any collection your child has dreamed up.
Next time you have an empty soup can, clean it out and keep it for projects like these. You’ll need that and some beads and Popsicle sticks. I used metal glue, as I wanted it to stick well to the tin. You could also use hot glue, but then it’s hard for the kids to help.
Get gluing and sticking. It’s as simple as that.
Jodi, that is so fun! I love the colors and graphic mix of lines and dots – so cool that it’s easy for the littles to make something so pretty!
I love this I have a cupboard full of cans Ive been trying to find something to do with and now here it is. Plus my little guy will love this.
