I introduced you to Explode the Code with Abby. It’s a great way to get kids to begin to learn to read. I just found out from my friend that they have Explode the Code A, B and C. I thought it started at 1, 2, and 3, etc. I’m so excited they have this resource for younger kids too, and Kenzie is excited to have her own workbook. She is just beginning. I try and not push learning at this age. I just want it fun, so if she stops showing interest, I’ll wait until she is ready. I mostly bring in learning through games at this young age. She had fun with the first few page, however, so we’ll keep going if she remains interested.
This looks like a wonderful series of books. I will have to look for them for my guy.
I used these every year I taught….wonderful resource. I did, however, supplement for the vowels, as it did not seem comprehensive enough.
