I am passing on a tip to you that I have not adopted yet. Still, I pass it on because it is a good tip, and I really do plan to begin it soon. The advice is to make one night a week (I think we might choose Sunday) as a meal focused on a certain etiquette rule. You can see an etiquette dinner post I did to find great manners to work on with your kids. I’m not saying you need to focus on all of them at one meal. I’m proposing choosing one to focus on throughout the meal. You could present the rule at the beginning of the meal. You could make a game about it too. Make it fun for them. You don’t need to make it a fancy meal like we did in our etiquette meal, but it is an option if that would be fun for you. Manners are one of the many things you have the opportunity to teach your kids.

Great idea. My children are grown, but I can see this technique working for all kind of changes that I want to make.
You’re so right about that. It could really apply to anything, huh?
