“We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.” – Hebrews 2:1
Yes, Mommy If you’ve been hanging out here a long time, you have seen us play “Yes, Mommy” before. Part of being attentive is responding right away. In the attentiveness version, they run around until I call their names. After I call their names, they come running to me as quickly as they can. Then, they sit down and get in the attentiveness position (looking at me, sitting up straight and folding their hands). Once they are ready, they say, “Yes, Mommy.” I know! It’s a crazy simple game. However, it teaches them to respond and obey right away. It teaches them to give you their full attention. They seriously love this. I guess any excuse to run around. They even got Corban in on the game yelling, “Yes, Mommy” and everything.
