“I think God did a good job when he created you,” is another phrase you might hear me saying to my kids. I really believe it’s true, and I want them to believe it. The Bible says:
“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.” – Psalm 139:13-14
I want the kids to understand that they were created just as they are for our family. I often include a list of a number of their personality traits that I see and love. Telling them this often will help them realize their worth and identity in Christ.
