I have an amazing friend who I have spent loads of time with over the last couple of days. I have been a little under the weather the last few days. When she found out, she came over yesterday to watch all of our kids so I could rest. That evening, her family came over for a BBQ – she brought everything. This morning she organized a mega play date. She is really good at getting people to gather together. We went to a great park down by the water. The kids had a blast playing in the sand, wading in the water, playing on the playground and having picnics. It’s so great to gather with other moms. I hope you have a way to get involved with other moms in your area. If you don’t, I’d encourage you to seek out a community of moms.
