“We’re going to be laid back about that is a clutch phrase I’ve adopted lately. There are so many different opportunities to use this phrase. Sometimes I use it if they are freaking out over something their sibling has done. Maybe Corban has grabbed a toy from them. It’s not that we don’t need to address the situation, but we’re going to be laid back in our reaction to their brother. Perhaps they need to have some flexibility in responding to a plan change. It is a great phrase to use in those moments when things just don’t seem to be going their way. It has seem to come in use daily. I want my kids to have a nice balance of being laid back and being diligent. Right now, they just need to respond with a more laid back attitude about things.
