This idea comes from a dear friend of mine. I was out with a couple friends tonight for dinner. We talked about everything. Kids, of course, came up. My friend mentioned their dinner time routine. There was a battle for certain places at the table. There were also battles for certain cups or plates. So, now she rotates the dinner helper. They have one person in charge each night. This person helps decides where people sit and what plate and cup they will assign to each person. This child is also in charge of helping set the rest of the table. Doing this one tip has eliminated the meal time battles at their home, and it sounded like a good tip to pass on to you.
