Day #152 – Popsicle Stick Photo Puzzles

My friend, Jackie, told me about this craft a long time ago. You can make these with Popsicle puzzles from a magazine (like we did), family photos or your children’s drawings.
All you need is Popsicle sticks, an image, Mod Podge and a paint brush or paint sponge.
First, you have the kids line up the Popsicle sticks to the length of the picture.

You can then tape the sticks together to hold it in place while you Mod Podge.

Turn the sticks over and have the kids put on a layer of Mod Podge. Then, you can put a thin layer on the picture you chose and lay it on the sticks.

Next, you can put a layer of Mod Podge over the top.

The last step is to use an Exacto knife to slice between the sticks. After you’re done cutting, they’re ready to play. The puzzles proved to be the perfect amount of challenge for the girls.

  2. So fun!! I love this idea. Thank you for sharing at Sharing Saturday!!

  3. Is there any problems with using home printed photos? I am worried the mod podge will smear the photo…

    Thanks,
