Day #150 Tip – If There is Crying, Game Over

You’ve heard the phrase, “It’s not fun unless everyone is having fun.” I want my kids to be able to wrestle and play with each other. There’s a lot of laughing and giggling and positive energy, and then there is tears. At that point, the game is over. Of course, I always try and provide a safe and monitored environment for it all, but we want to end the fun when someone says “no” or is starting to get upset. With a boy in the family, the threshold for this type of play is probably going to get even greater around here. We love to wrestle and tickle our kids too, but the same rules apply for us. No means no. Tears mean stop – game over.
