We have now adopted “I Will” statements for our character development series. We made this cute board to highlight the focus phrases. I got the idea for our “I Will” statements as well as these specific statements this week from a curriculum called “Character First.” Most of the content is for older kids, but I do like the ideas behind the “I Will” claims. Our four phrases this week are:
1. I will not get upset when plans change.
2. I will not be stubborn.
3. I will look for good in changes.
4. I will respect the decisions of people in charge.
