Today I was able to help a friend out. It’s a long story, but one of my closest friends suddenly needed me to watch her kids for the day. Our kids get along great, so it was a blessing. So, this morning I was able to take seven kids. I don’t know how you moms with that many do it. Of course, the ones here were all six and under, which makes a difference. I’m seriously not complaining though because they all did great. I only had the 18 month old for an hour, and at 1:00 another left. Then, two of mine went for a nap, which left the three others to play. They play well together and tend to play quite independently, but I wanted to make some of the time together a bit more intentional. So, we did this great set of puzzles. This was a Costco 4 piece puzzle pack Abby got for her birthday, and it’s been great. I would encourage you Costco members to head over to the children’s book section and poke around while you are there shopping. We have been able to purchase a few pretty inexpensive learning books, puzzles and games. This puzzle group has been a big hit for the kids and is also a fun learning tool. I wanted to show you these so you can keep your eyes peeled for stuff like this. We also had fun playing hide and seek, jumping on pillows, snacking, and coloring.
