co·op·er·a·tion /kōˌäpəˈrāSHən/
Noun
Noun
- The process of working together to the same end.
- more or less active assistance from a person, organization, etc.
Reason Chosen: Learning to cooperate is an important tool for everyone to learn. There are personalities that enjoy working alone while there are others that would rather be a part of a team. Which ever side is your bent is perfectly fine. However, God does call us to be part of the body of Christ. We are all called to be on a team. Our children will need to learn to cooperate to function well with others – in church, in school, in a family and someday in a work environment. It is important to realize the value that others can bring to the table while also developing key skills in compromising, sacrificing, listening, and contributing. Working in a team can often yield amazing results because of the different talents and ideas others will bring to the table. We are not meant to function in this world alone. We were created to be in relationship.
