Day #92 – Princess Party

My husband and I are on a trip to Hawaii.  Thank you for sunshine.  It was my goal to have 365 days of posting this year, so I’m filling some of the gap with things we’ve done in the past.  This was Abby’s 4th birthday celebration – a princess party.  Let me preface this with my thoughts that I would not ever have princess party.  I just didn’t want my life overrun with frill and pink.  Enter Abby.  I think I gasped out loud when we walked into a toy store with a huge display, and she proclaimed, “Princess.”  What?!  Where did you learn that word.  You can barely talk, and I’ve never let that word slip out.  I guess it is as innate as my son turning everything into a sword.  So I embraced my 120% girl.  We had a princess party.  Here are some of the results.

 The Table Decor

The Princess Parlor – A place with princess dress up clothes, face paint and nail polish.

The Crepe Paper Game – At the center of each of the crepe paper cupcakes is a candy ring.  On “go,” the girls were able to quickly unwrap the crepe paper to discover the surprise.

The Gift Bags

The Food – Crown Sandwiches with Strawberry Cream Cheese, Raspberries, Watermelon, Strawberries & Strawberry Yogurt
