I enjoy looking at recipes. I’m pretty sure it’s something I inherited from my mom. I used to flip through magazines and fold down edges. I ended up collecting too many magazines that I never went back to. I also tried starring the ones I liked in the table of contents. I also used to write recipes out on index cards, and we would rate them. That was before kids. Therefore, my method changed. I now just cut out the recipe and any picture provided. I glue it to a sheet of paper and slide it into a clear transparency sheet protectors. Then, I organize those in binders with the appropriate heading. Of course, Pinterest has taken over some of this, but for the old school magazines, this is the way I roll. I also love having the rating system. I will make notes directly on the recipe. We decide on how many stars it might receive and any changes we would make in the future.
