OK – Lazy day around here. I admit it. We had a 75 degree day, which is a rare thing this time of year in the Seattle area, and this is our backyard. Who couldn’t take a day to just relax? Abby proved that I am basically raising myself as she spent the afternoon jumping off the dock into the freezing cold water. I should have taken more pictures, but I guess that was part of the laziness of it all. There was playing in the lake, cuddling on this couch, listening to music and an impromptu BBQ with friends. I do want to offer you something more from this day though, so I’m introducing you to my new favorite drink that I sipped on today. I was introduced to this drink on our recent trip to Hawaii and asked for the recipe, so the next post will be of my new favorite Thai Margarita.
It looks like a lot of fun.
I can’t tell you how excited I was at the weather this past weekend. It’s dumping down rain now, but I got a good hint of the summer.
