You definitely have something you want to accomplish in your children. There are so many people involved in your children’s lives – grandparents, day care workers, teachers, friends. Hopefully, you are surrounded by a support system. If not, I encourage you to find one. Try and get them on board with things you are working on at home. “We’re really trying to work with Kennedy on obeying right away. These are some strategies that have worked for us…” Do it in respectful way, knowing that they want what is best for your child too. The more people you have on your team working toward the same goals, the more results you will see. The consistency you can create with a group of people will only help you see results quicker.
