Day #84 Virtue in Celery – Character Development, Week #12

Virtue
“And as for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right.” – 2 Thessalonians 3:17
Today we focused on our “I Will” statement that says, “I will guard my eyes, ears, words and thoughts.”  We put celery in food colored water last night.  Today we woke up to celery that had changed color.  It was a great word picture for them to see that we absorb what we choose to watch, listen to or enter our minds.  My kids are little, but they still wonder why we turn the radio at certain times or choose to not let them watch certain cartoons or play with certain toys.  This was a good visual about how we can be impacted by what we surround ourselves with.
