I have been including some general tips in my parenting tips section because I’ve found certain things helpful that are included in the homemaker job description. This tip includes cutting and freezing red peppers. One of our favorite recipes is for fajitas. I’ll have to post that one in the future. Red peppers can be expensive. I wait until they go on sale, and I buy a bunch of them, cut them up and freeze them. Here’s how you cut a red pepper:
I don’t know if these pictures show it very well, but you want to cut the sides off a red pepper in quarters. It will leave the core together, and you won’t have any seeds or guts. It’s a fun trick I’ve picked up along the way.
A while back, I also did some research on if you can successfully freeze peppers and how to do it. You can cut it into strips like shown above and put them on a jelly roll baking sheet. Just cover with plastic wrap & foil. After it freezes, you can put them in Ziploc bags. It’s so nice to have these ready for recipes. I try to either mark the foil to indicate one pepper or estimate it and put the equivalent of one pepper per bag. This makes it easier to be prepared for your recipes.

This is a good tip, thanks for sharing
I’m glad it will be helpful.
