Tied directly into being a meaningful mama is being a meaningful wife. I can’t emphasize enough how honoring your husband is going to speak volumes to your children. This shouldn’t just be done on special holidays, but today happened to be Valentine’s Day, so we wanted to honor him on this day too. We went to the dollar store, and I let both of the girls pick out their own balloons and cards they wanted to give him. We also chose dad’s favorite candy, Butterfingers, to surprise him with at his office. I picked out a big balloon bouquet and card from me. The girls colored in their cards, and I wrote in mine. Then, we made the delivery. He was away in a meeting at the time, so I was glad that we just were able to drop our gifts as a surprise.
