A friend recently told me that she always has a change of clothes for each kid in the back of her car. Brilliant. Perhaps if I had done that sooner, I wouldn’t have had my children go home without pants on or dressed like a boy in their friends clothes. Other things handy to keep in the car are extra diapers, wipes, car emergency kit, snacks, sunscreen, car games, books, an umbrella stroller, blanket, rags (to wipe playground equipment) and random rewards (you know the story of Pavlov’s dog).
