Today we had a sledding day in the mountains. It was so much fun. I would encourage everyone to get out and enjoy the region in which they live. I would also say try and laugh and play like a kid again. Not very hard to do when you’re sledding, but try to not sit on the sidelines. We were able to go with my sister and her family, which was an extra bonus. If you’re having fun, they’re having fun…more often than not. I read a book of a mom who had a lot of work to do inside the house on a snowy day. Her kids were begging her to come outside and play, but she really wanted to get the dishes done. She reluctantly went and said that she never looked back on that day and wished she had done the dishes.
