The activity today related to our journey of thoughtfulness. We took one of my husband’s favorite cookies to him as a surprise at work. So, it was another baking day at our house. I have to be honest, however. Today was a big day of training, and they were not being very helpful in the kitchen. So, my rule in the kitchen is, “If you’re not being helpful, you can’t help.” The first kid out was Kenzie and Abby followed soon after. Therefore, I had to finish up the cookies by myself. They are normally a lot better at helping in the kitchen, but today was one of those days, and I am not going to slack on my parenting to have a cute blog post, so you get a little of reality. I’ll post the recipe in the next post. I was able to snap a couple pictures before it went downhill.
