We are blessed with wonderful grandparents on both side…even great grandparents…who are very involved in our kids lives. One of the things my parents love is taking their grand kids (they have 10) on outings. They even have season passes to the Pacific Science Center so that they can take the kids. Today, they were taking my niece and nephew there, and I decided to tag along. There was something for each of the kids – from the tot area, to the music room, to the butterfly house, to the bulldozer, to the dinosaur room…and on and on. Season passes to the zoo, museums or other local attractions end up being a very cost effective way to give your children some fun learning environments.
